HRC Launch Event April 2024

The HRC in Cardiovascular and Respiratory Medicine is one of fourteen new centres across England funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR). The centre was officially launched in April 2024 under the directorships of Professor Amedeo Chiribiri and Dr Rachel Clough. The HRC team is headquartered within the London Institute for Healthcare Engineering, and will collaborate with businesses to support the development of new medical devices, diagnostics, and digital technology aimed at helping patients better monitor their health, assisting clinicians with early diagnosis of illness, and improving cardiovascular and respiratory disease management.
