Voices of Innovation: Women Shaping the Future of STEMM

The HRC Co-Director Ms. Rachel Clough  and Dr. Bindu Nair, HRC EDI  Lead partnered with the Gender Equality Working Group at King’s College London to organize an impactful panel event at LIHE titled “Voices of Innovation: Women Shaping the Future of STEMM.” The event brought together leading voices to discuss the persistent challenges and systemic barriers that women face in engineering and other STEMM disciplines. Panelists shared personal experiences and insights while exploring practical solutions and initiatives aimed at fostering a more inclusive and supportive environment for women pursuing careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Medicine. The discussion emphasized the importance of mentorship, equitable policies, and cultural change to create better opportunities and improve retention for women in these fields.
